I hate being a girl...
Anyways... Rachel and I left early today because we're not feeling so great. And Gene wasn't feeling too good either. Neither was Pacer (he threw up...twice).
When we got back to my house, we watched Enchanted. Not as good as I hoped it would be...I expect better from the people who made The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. The songs were lame, the princess was dumb...it just...wasn't that good. I give it a C+.
I'm losing it. Really losing it. I want this stupid gallery to come together so bad and it just doesn't feel like it's going to happen. HOW DO I GET MONEY FROM THE WALKABOUT FUND?!?! PLEASE TELL ME!!! What must I do?

Talk to Amy!! I think you have to fill out a budget and turn it in. I'm not quite sure whether or not you have to present to a committee. I'm trying to get some of my travel expenses paid for by the walkabout fund (I filled out a budget) but I'm a little vague on what happens next.

Yeah. Enchanted was nominated for an Oscar for best Musical Score and they performed like three songs during the program. I hated them. Thank God "Once" won or else I'd have to take action and never watch the Oscars again.

The best way to apply to Mermaid Enchanted Fund is to turn in a proposal to the Evil Enchanted Octopus Queen. Wait, I think I am mixing up the entries. Oh yes...
There is a form to fill out, it is quite straight forward. You describe what you are going to do, how much money you need, and then wait and see if you get money. it is not a speedy process, so the money may be you getting paid back for an expense...but I am glad you are considering it, because I think there is still money in the fund.
To get the form, come see me, or ask Rachel to grab it from me and take it to you.

Let's totally disregard Ryan's comment for a second and get back on the subject of Movie soundtracks. Did anyone like Sweeny Todd as much as I did?
--Rachel I didn't get a chance to see Once but I love the song that the movie was nominated for and thought it was way better than any of the other nominees (except for "Let it Be" which I didn't think should have won just because none of the songs in Across the Universe were original)
--Allison: Tru Dat "Poor Unfortunate Souls" beats Enchanted any day. Plus Ursula is way cool.
I loved Sweeney Todd. The music, i thought, was great too. A lot of people I talked about it with said it was weird...

Once is okay. What I liked best about it was the simplicity. They really don't put that much effort into creating huge, comical lines. It was made with a very small budget, and feels more like a documentary.I liked it.
my mom, on the other hand, didn't. and I don't know of anyone else who has seen it.

I shall make am effort to see both Juno and Once. Although I have to find someone who hasn't seen these movies either because none of my movie watching devices are working at the moment (or have been for like ever). What I heard of the Juno soundtrack I liked, it was cute!
